We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Specialist, the ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, a solid grasp of SEO principles, and a strong desire to keep learning and growing within the field. This remote role will support the SEO team in implementing and managing search engine optimization strategies to increase organic search rankings and drive traffic to our clients' websites. Please note: this is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in Jordan or Egypt only.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, and image alt text.
- Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO-specific software.
- Perform regular website audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues.
- Support the creation and distribution of high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
- Collaborate with the content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
- Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
- Assist in developing and implementing link-building strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports for internal and client review.
- Leverage AI-powered SEO tools to accelerate keyword research, content optimization, and technical audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, with a solid understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Experience managing SEO for multiple clients in an agency environment.
