We are a 50+ person remote tech company and we are looking for our first HR hire to build our people operations from the ground up.
Audit all existing employee contracts and create standardized templates
Design and implement a complete HR system covering the full employee lifecycle
Build clear procedures for overtime, annual raises, and leave management
Write the HR handbook the whole company will follow
Integrate HR processes with our existing tools: Teams, Azure DevOps, and Wakkt
Monitor contract renewals, run review cycles, and handle escalations ongoing
You have built HR processes from the ground up, not just maintained existing ones
You are organized, document everything, and follow through
You understand remote team dynamics and how to make policies actually stick
You are comfortable working independently and taking full ownership
