Zetaton is seeking a motivated Electron Developer with at least 1 year of experience to join our remote software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining desktop applications using the Electron framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in working with Platforms as Service such as Firebase or Supabase.
- Design and develop cross-platform desktop applications using Electron.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in the application.
- Optimize application performance to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in software development using Electron.
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Node.js and other relevant libraries/frameworks.
- Understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other desktop development frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration.
